Cancellation Policy

Appointments at Relate Psychology are in high demand. When an appointment is made for you, that appointment is a definite booking and time has been put aside for you personally. If you cancel your appointment without adequate notice, it is unable to be offered to someone else in need.

Therefore, Relate Psychology has a strict cancellation policy and requires at least 48 hours notice in order to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, a fee of 100% of the full appointment fee will apply. This fee must be paid in full before your next scheduled session.

  • 24-48 Hours Notice: For cancellations or rescheduling within 24-48 hours of your appointment, a fee of 50% of the full appointment fee will be charged. This fee also needs to be paid in full before your next scheduled session.

  • There are no cancellation fees for appointments canceled with more than 48 hours notice.

Please note that there are no Medicare, or Private Health Insurance Rebates for Cancellation Fees.

While we endeavour to remind you of your appointments through SMS reminders, these should not be relied upon and you are encouraged to make note of your future appointments.
