The remainder of the hour is used to write clinical notes and to review your file.

 

Medicare rebates of $92.90 apply for clients with a Mental Health Care Plan refferal from a GP or psychiatrist. However, you can still access services without a referral or rebate.

 

Private Health Insurance rebates apply to eligible clients. Check your entitlements with your Private Health Insurance provider.

Please be aware that the Medicare rebates offered with Mental Health Care Plans are for the treatment of individuals only and do not apply to Couples Counselling. There are no Medicare rebates for Couples Counselling.

Appointments at Relate Psychology are in high demand. When an appointment is made for you, that appointment is a definite booking and time has been put aside for you personally. If you cancel your appointment without adequate notice, it is unable to be offered to someone else in need.

 

Therefore, Relate Psychology has a strict cancellation policy and requires at least 24 hours notice in order to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. The cancellation fee is 100% of the full appointment fee for less than 24 hours notice and needs to be paid in full before the next scheduled session. There are no cancellation fees for appointments canceled with more than 24 hours notice. 

 

Please note that there are no Medicare, or Private Health Insurance Rebates for Cancellation Fees.
